Principle and structure
The main measuring element of glass rota flow meter is a glass tube with small end down, big end up and a floater which move down in it. When the fluid flows through the cone glass from bottom to top, a differential pressure generated between upper and lower of the floater, and the floater will be rising under the differential pressure. When the resultant force of float upward force, gravity and buoyancy of floater and viscous force is equal, the floater in a state of balance. Therefore, the fluid flow of the meter and the height of rising fluid have certain relation with the meter’s flow area, and the height of floater can be as flow rate.
